2022 and Beyond for Pivot City

With the prospect of Basketball being firmly cemented in our lives with the threat of Covid lessening each week. We turn to 2022 and beyond. Read below about what Pivot City is looking forward to in 2022 from Club President Shayna Poto.

Pivot City has completed a club-wide review of its strategic objectives during the Covid-19 period and has set a new and refreshed path in place.

Our aim is to provide an environment where players and coaches develop to the highest levels and will be known for both our high performance and development programs.

To enable this Pivot City is building a basketball curriculum second to none to be delivered by a coaching cohort that aspires to set the benchmark for domestic club basketball through innovative training and methodologies.

To do this, Pivot City appointed Isaac Turner to the position of Basketball Performance Director working with Anthony Kevric.  In the coming 12 months, a new Pivot Curriculum will be shared with all players and coaches, team trials will be overseen by Isaac and further integration with external high-performance programs will deliver innovation to players and coaches at all levels in their personal journey of basketball.

Pivot City is also looking to the past with its club champions by engaging with our Alumni to hold an annual event that celebrates these past champions and reconnecting them to the club.  At this event, the current champions and players of the future will be recognised.
